Innocent's Progress cover

This just in from Circlet Press. This will be the "cover" for my story collection. Not sure if this is the final art or not.

Covers are a funny thing for ebooks, as they don't fulfill exactly the same function as for regular books. A prospective customer will probably see it as one thumbnail image surrounded by many on a web page or on the directory page of an ebook reader app, and therefore it must be recognizable and attractive when in a small, icon size, say 100x150 or even smaller.

The book should start hitting the ebook distributors in mid-August. This process takes some time, so the official launch on the Circlet.com site, with excerpt, won't be until September 27th. If I understand correctly, it may be possible to buy at certain sites before then.
